Frequently asked questions

Do I need a phone app?

No extra app is needed on the camera phone. For the two-phone mode, both phones only need a browser; the Garmin mode uses the Connect IQ watch app.

Does it work with iPhone and Android?

Yes. RemoteCamGo is designed for modern Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android.

Is the remote preview a video livestream?

No. The remote displays regularly refreshed preview images. The actual photo or video is captured on the camera phone.

Can I take more than one photo or video?

Yes. A session can contain multiple photos and videos. When finished, they are collected in one gallery.

How can I save or share my media?

The session gallery lets you download individual files, download the complete gallery as a ZIP where available, or share read-only links to a photo, video or full gallery.

How long is finished media stored?

New galleries remain available for 7 days after the session ends, then expire automatically. Earlier sessions keep their existing expiry date.
